We are working to redevelop the ultimate electronic signature collection app revolutionizing grassroots organizing in Baltimore City and beyond. In response to the evolving landscape of civic engagement, our goal is to provide a user-friendly platform for collecting electronic signatures, empowering grassroots organizers to level the playing field in the pursuit of charter amendments and ballot initiatives. With the ability to gather electronic signatures, organizers can transcend geographical barriers and reach a wider audience, effectively countering the advantage held by well-funded special interest groups. Our redeveloped tool prioritizes accessibility and ease of use, offering intuitive features that streamline the signature collection process for organizers and signatories alike. Data Analytics & Data Ethics
Recognizing the urgency of this issue, the Ethical Data Usage Research Project seeks to delve deep into the dynamics of data usage within grassroots organizing and identify best practices to rebuild public trust. By examining case studies, conducting interviews with organizers and community members, and analyzing data management strategies, the project aims to uncover the detrimental effects of data misuse on movement-building efforts.
